You Wont believe How Easy It Is To Repair Your Own Phone / IPhone 5C Bat...

What's going on guys? Bendji D. here from Get Fixed.
In today's video I'll be showing you how to do both a screen and battery replacement for the IPhone 5c. The tools needed for this repair is a Pentalobe screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, and a prying tool.

Step 1. Locate the two screws nears the charging port on the base of your phone, use the Pentalobe screwdriver to remove these screws.

Step 2. Take your prying tool and proceed by putting the tool between the crevice of the screen and the housing of the IPhone.

Step 3. Locate this metal shield covering the batteries ribbon cable, there you will see two screws, use the Phillips screwdriver to remove them.

Last but not least. Step 4. Use the prying tool to disconnect the battery from the motherboard. The battery is stuck with adhesive so it will be a challenge to pry it out. Be very careful not to penetrate the battery during this step, if you do, chances are it may catch on fire. After removing the battery, set it aside and replace it with a new battery. Connect it, and place the metal shield over the connection and screw it back into place.

Now for the screen replacement. Locate this shield covering the ribbon cables for the LCD, Digitizer, and camera. Remove the screws, disconnect the cables, and replace the old broken screen with the new one. Connect everything back into place, screw the metal shield, and close up the IPhone. The last step is to screw back the Pentalobe screws. Hope this repair was a success for you. If you learned anything new today be sure to click the like button below.
