You Wont believe How Easy It Is To Repair Your Own Phone / IPhone 5C Bat...

What's going on guys? Bendji D. here from Get Fixed.
In today's video I'll be showing you how to do both a screen and battery replacement for the IPhone 5c. The tools needed for this repair is a Pentalobe screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, and a prying tool.

Step 1. Locate the two screws nears the charging port on the base of your phone, use the Pentalobe screwdriver to remove these screws.

Step 2. Take your prying tool and proceed by putting the tool between the crevice of the screen and the housing of the IPhone.

Step 3. Locate this metal shield covering the batteries ribbon cable, there you will see two screws, use the Phillips screwdriver to remove them.

Last but not least. Step 4. Use the prying tool to disconnect the battery from the motherboard. The battery is stuck with adhesive so it will be a challenge to pry it out. Be very careful not to penetrate the battery during this step, if you do, chances are it may catch on fire. After removing the battery, set it aside and replace it with a new battery. Connect it, and place the metal shield over the connection and screw it back into place.

Now for the screen replacement. Locate this shield covering the ribbon cables for the LCD, Digitizer, and camera. Remove the screws, disconnect the cables, and replace the old broken screen with the new one. Connect everything back into place, screw the metal shield, and close up the IPhone. The last step is to screw back the Pentalobe screws. Hope this repair was a success for you. If you learned anything new today be sure to click the like button below. How To Do A Glass Only Screen Repair For Any Phone | Get Fixed

             Script:
What's going on guys? Bendji D. here from Get Fixed and I gotta request from Kanje Vest to do a glass only screen repair. Some of you may know the screen is actually made of two parts, the Digitizer, which is the cheap five dollar glass, and the LCD, which is the part of the screen that lights up and displays the images. Before figuring out how to separate the two, I would constantly have people come to me with only the Digitizer asking me to do a screen repair for them. When I told them that the screens are stuck together and it's nearly impossible to separate the two without breaking the LCD, they would either refer me to a YouTuber that has succeeded where I failed. Come on, you and I both know you're just trying to save an extra twenty-five bucks. Now that I have the knowledge of separating the two, I'm here to share that knowledge you Kanje. This is the glass only screen repair tutorial for the IPhone 4 through the IPhone 6s Plus.

Step 1. Use something like a blow dryer  or a heating pad, like the one I have here. This is meant for keeping coffee warm and melting scented candles, but I got a bit creative. What can I say, I'm Bendji D. here fromGet Fixed. There's a link in the description if you wanna know where to get one.

Step 2. Take the screen and heat it upp, either to the point where it's too hot to touch, or for about two and a half minutes.

Step 3. Take something thin like a business card or a blade, slide it in between the LCD and Digitizer, and apply a small amount of pressure in order to separate the LCD from the adhesive. Be very cautious when doing this step because it is very sensitive, any unnecessary pressure applied to it can result in a broken screen. You will then be forced to order a screen with both the LCD and Digitizer. The LCD is the most expensive part of the screen assembly.

Last but not least, Step 4. Once the glass is removed, you will notice the screen has this sticky residue left from the separation. That's the adhesive I mentioned earlier. You will need two things to get the adhesive off, one of which is the blade you used to separate the screen, and a spray called Goof Off. Spray a bit of it on a napkin, apply it to the adhesive, and scrape the adhesive off with the blade.

That is all. If you learned anything new today and want to see more content of this nature, click the like button below and subscribe. Anyways guys, Bendji D. here from Get Fixed and I'm out. Peace.

The Non-Job Movement: Is Education Really The way to go?

Chances are you're young and ambitious but don't really have an understanding of what it takes to become a stronger version of yourself.

Stuck working a job you despise, surrounded by nothing but negative people who talks about how miserable their lives turned out to be.

Negativity is contagious, if you allow it to contribute to your morals and values, then you'll most likely end up just like your Co-workers, lost hope, bitter, and one paycheck away from being homeless.

My story:

At 15 yrs. of age I would always tell myself that I'm not going to take the beaten path, spend 12 years of my life going to school and waste another 6 years just to end up broke and paying off student loans.

Even if I did have the brain capacity to become a doctor, I'd rather not spend 1/3 of my life in school and the rest of it working a good paying, stressful job.

Here's something to think on. Why is it that 16 million people out of us 7 billion are in the category of millionaires and above when more than half of the population attended college after graduating college?

Is it worth it to take the beaten path, waste a big chunk of your life attending college in order to satisfy your parents brainwashed view of what they think is right for you? Even if you do end up striking a job that makes you a million dollars a year through education, you'll still be considered a loser in life.

You have a good paying job but is it a job you enjoy doing or does it seem stressful and time consuming? Do you wake up every morning looking forward to doing it or do you drag yourself out of bed and force yourself to partake in this job?

Dremel 7700 Cordless 7.2v Two-Speed Rotary Tool Review

What's going on guys? Bendji D. here from Get Fixed. Today we will be reviewing the Dremel 7700.
If you have not seen the previous video of using my homemade engraving tool, definitely click here.

If you turned up a little too hard this summer resulting in a broken Iphone 6 or 6 Plus, click here and i'll teach you how to fix it yourself to save you a substantial amount of money. Before testing this bad boy, I couldn't stop but to think about the bulkiness of this device.

Imagine having to take a test with a pencil of this size. It's actually more comfortable to hold than people may think. This cordless 7.2v Two-Speed Rotary Tool is very impressive, it can engrave wood, sharpen knifes, and hey, maybe even make you money if you obtain the skills needed in order to do this as a side job.

Here's how well this thing works. On low, it spins about 10,000 revolutions per minute, but on high, the revolutions double to about 20,000. To get the best results, I usually draw my design on a thin or thick piece of paper or tape before tracing it and watching the masterpiece unfold before my eyes.
Anyways guys, Bendji D. here from Get Fixed and I'm out. Peace.

How To - IPhone 6 / IPhone 6 Plus screen Replacement

What's going on guys? Bendji D. here from Get Fixed and today we will be repairing the Iphone 6.

Here are the tools you will need in order to make this repair a success. First up is the Pentalobe screwdriver, followed by by a suction cup, and a Phillips screwdriver.

Located in the base of the IPhone 6 are two Pentalobe screws that will need to be removed in order to access any internal components.

Proceed by removing the screws and placing them somewhere safe so they don't get lost. Now grab your trusty suction cup, push it onto the screen, and pull it just enough in order to get a prying tool or the tip of your fingernails into the crevasses of the screen to pry it open.

Once opened, locate the silver plating at the top right corner of your phone, there you will find five screws. So I says to um I says, remove um.

Once these screws are removed using the Phillips screwdriver, place the metal shield aside, and carefully disconnect the flex cables for the camera, LCD, and Digitizer.

Chances are the screen you bought does not come with the stock parts such as the metal shield on the back of the LCD, the touch ID fingerprint scanner, and the speaker used to hear the person on the other end of a phone conversation.

You will need to transfer those parts onto the new screen. It shouldn't be too hard to do but be careful when removing the finger scanner.
If you had any trouble with that be sure to let me know in the comments below.

Placing the new screen on the IPhone should be easy considering all you have to do is the reverse of what you did to get the screen off.

Step 1.
Connect the flex cable for the camera, LCD, and Digitizer.

2. Place the metal shield over the connections and screw everything back into place.
Last but not least, align the screen and the housing of the IPhone 6 together and clip it back into place. If this video helped you in any way, be sure to like and comment below.
