CyanogenMod is a custom version of the Android operating system. It's here to offer a 'better' version than Google can provide, with more features and more control for the hardcore user. It may sound a lot like one of those custom interfaces you get with phones like the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Why Cyanogen? Because it allows you to customize and change the theme of your apps, lock screen, and over all theme of the phone. in conclusion: Cyanogen is basically planing to pry the Androids operating system from the great giant (Googles grip). More news on this topic coming soon, in a random blog post near you......
So, there is a rumor/'prank' going around that if you change the date on your iPhone
6, or 6s to January 1st 1970... It will brick your phone.
Turns out this rumor is true. I have an iPhone 6 that I tried it on. After scrolling all
the way back to January 1st 1970, I turned off the phone... and all it would do is power
cycle when I turned it back on.
It would stay on the apple logo for a few minutes, then turn off, turn back on... and
stay stuck in the boot loop forever.
Now... you'd have to be pretty silly to intentionally cause damage to an expensive cell phone...
BUT if you or someone else you know has accidentally fallen for this prank, there is a way to fix
it.
How To Fix It:
Method 1:
I did not get much feedback from the last video I made about how to get unstuck from the Apple boot loop logo. I assume the instructions may have been a bit unclear. This one's a completely different method.
If you've backed up the device then great, if not, I recommend backing up your
device from this day forward (on a monthly bases) to prevent data loss in the
future.
Disclaimer: I am in no way responsible for any loss of data, this article is meant
to inform. You will loose all the data on the device
after restoring your iPhone, iPod, or iPad.
Let's get started. All you'll need for this
method is a computer that has access to iTunes and your charger.
Step 1. Make sure your device is completely turned off and connected to the PC.
Step 2. Hold the power and home button at the same
time and keep holding it until the Apple logo lights up.
Once the Apple logo goes away it will seem like the device is turned off.
Immediately let go of the power button while still holding the home button
Step 3. After about seven seconds of holding the home button, your computer
will tell you
"iTunes has detected your device is in recovery mode" even though the screen
on your iPhone, iPod, and iPad is "Turned Off."
Step 4. Click OK on your computer then hit restore on iTunes.
And that should be it. If this helped you in any way, be sure to give it a
thumbs up. Got any questions or suggestions for a future

Method 2:
A simple unplugging of the battery will correct this software issue. If that is not
Once the battery has been unplugged from the frozen device, the date and time will automatically reset, giving you full access to your phone again.
To remove the battery, there are 2
small Pentalobe screws at the bottom. Then you need to GENTLY lift the screen away from
the device. It helps if you have a little suction cup to help lift up. Then there are
2 more screws holding down the battery connection. Pop that off with a plastic pry tool. Wait
Once that is finished, put everything back where it belongs, and your phone is as good
as new.
In conclusion
The next time you need to time travel...better get an android.
